Visiting Universal Studios Hollywood with Kids This Summer - 2022: Helpful Tips

Visiting Universal Studios Hollywood with Kids This Summer – 2022: Helpful Tips

Tips to visit Universal Studios Hollywood with kids this Summer – 2022 If you guys are following us on Instagram then you should be knowing that we’ve been to Universal Studios Hollywood recently and had so much fun there. It was our first visit with two kids of ages 6 & 2 after Pandemic and they had a blast. We have been to Universal Studios many times earlier, and with all our experience, I will be sharing some tips on Universal Studios Hollywood Which you should be knowing before you go. Before I proceed, A Big Thanks to UNVIERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD for Hosting us!! BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE: We always recommend buying your tickets ahead of time online to any place you visit (not just Universal Studios Hollywood) just to avoid those long waiting lines at the booths and moreover you will find tons of discounts or coupon codes online which can save few bucks. PACK AN EXTRA SET OF CLOTHES : When travelling with kids, I always recommend packing extra set of clothes and when visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, do not forget to pack a swim suit for kids as there’s a small water park inside the theme park designed for kids. Even if you are not planning to go to the water park, there are a few splash and play areas outside the park. If your little ones love to play in the water, then you should be having some extra clothes or bathing suits for them. If you plan to visit during summers then playing in the splash areas is the best way to beat the California heat. BRING SNACKS & WATER: It’s a theme park and there will be alot of walking and kids can get easily tired. Though there are restaurants and food trucks inside the park , its better to pack some extra water and small snacks like bars for kids as they can easily get tired and thirsty in  California summer. Baby food is always allowed inside the park, so make sure you carry a good amount of baby food and liquids as well. Milk for the babies/kids can be found in any restaurant. There’s Starbucks inside the park and i always get Milk from there and both my kids love it. PLAN TO STAY THE WHOLE DAY: Do not Underestimate the Universal Studios Hollywood,  it is Huge and there is so much to do in there. Do the rides first and in between when you feel the kids or tired or they need break, watch the shows or take the studio tour. With this you will not just be giving a break to your legs but also doing a activity too. USE THE APP : If you are in any Theme Park, using their app saves lot of your time & energy. You can use the UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD app to Check ride, show and attraction wait times at home, on the go or in the park. STROLLER FRIENDLY: Of course Universal Studios Hollywood is made for Kids and Families so definitely every corner of this park is Wheelchair and stroller friendly. You can also rent one in the park , there’s a area right after you enter the park where you can rent the stroller. GO AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE : The earlier you go the more rides you can do as the lines will not too long. At Universal Studios Hollywood, the seasons pass allows you to enter the park only after noon so can expect alot of local people and the bigger lines after noon and stay until its closed. Whether you are a local or non-local , come to the park early and avoid hassle. FREE BUTTON : You can get a FREE Birthday Button or First Visit Button. Just head to the guest relations located outside the park and ask for a Button which suits your occasion. When you have your birthday button on, you can receive birthday greetings from everyone who works in the park. These Buttons make a great sovereign. STUDIO TOUR : A visit to Universal Studios Hollywood is incomplete without going on the Studio Tour. This is a 60 minute ride where you will sit in a tram and it takes you on the behind the scenes of how movioes are made, the movie sets , the props and much more. It also have 3D shows so make sure you grab your 3D Glasses when boarding the tram. Now this is something which you can never find anywhere else except Universal Studios Hollywood. As i said earlier, Theme parks are designed for kids and families and am sure your kids will have alot of fun during this tour. EXPRESS PASS SAVES YOUR TIME : When with kids, you definitely would want to avoid those big lines. Kids can get bored and cranky easily and Express pass can help you save both your time and energy. for example, there was one ride which my kids wanted to do and it had a 40 minute wait time, but with express pass we had to wait only for 2 minutes in the line and it just saved a lot of our time and energy.
